Jotreel

Terms of service

Last updated October 25, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Jotreel Chrome extension and service. By installing or using Jotreel, you agree to them.

What Jotreel does

Jotreel transcribes audio from a browser tab you choose and uses AI to create notes, flashcards, and translations. AI output can contain mistakes. Check anything important against the original video.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity on your Jotreel account. One free trial per person.

Plans and payment

Acceptable use

Use Jotreel for content you have the right to access, such as your courses, lectures, and public videos, and for your own study and personal use. Don't use it to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, record people in ways that require their consent without getting it, or abuse, overload, or reverse engineer the service. You're responsible for how you use transcripts of other people's content.

Your content

Transcripts, notes, and flashcards you create are yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Jotreel running well but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we make a change that significantly affects paid plans, we'll tell you in advance.

Disclaimer and liability

Jotreel is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using Jotreel at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any subscription. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
